The Old Scholars' Association hold a variety of functions at the School, in regional areas, interstate and overseas, which provide a valuable means of keeping members in touch with each other and the School, no matter where in the world they live.
Each year reunions are celebrated for past students who attended Walford sixty, fifty, forty, thirty, twenty, ten and five years ago.
A number of special events are traditionally held during Old Scholars’ week, which is celebrated in the last week of May. The Holy Communion, Back to School Assembly and Rose Bowl Debate are popular occasions among old scholars, whether financial members or not. These events usually take place on the last Thursday of May and many past students use this opportunity to visit their daughters, granddaughters and other family members who attend the School.
On the last Friday of May, the Annual Dinner is a great opportunity for the reunion years to catch up and all old scholars are welcome to attend.
