We hold our Junior School Sports Day and a variety of special school events at Parks.

Walford's ELC centre consists of bright, colourful, sun-filled rooms and outdoor play areas. Girls and boys from as young as 18 months begin in Playgroup.

Children of 3 years old attend a tailored age-specific Adamson Program and transition into a Preparatory Class from ages 4-5. The children also access Junior School spaces and specialist staff for music, physical activity and library sessions.

The Walford Sports Centre is a state of the art facility incorporating two playing courts with fully sprung polished wooden floors and a spectator viewing gallery.

On the second level, a fully equipped fitness room and dance/movement studio allows a range of fitness programs to be delivered to students from as young as 3 years to elite sportswomen.

Swimming Pool

Swim classes, water safety and rescue sessions are conducted in the School's heated pool. Boarders love to use the pool on warm weekends.

The Jubilee Secret Garden is a place of building, imagination and creativity. All this is carried out amongst textures, scents, sounds and best of all, sand and water!

The Walford Boarding House is a unique accommodation facility. Girls are accommodated in single and share rooms with ensuite bathrooms, kitchenettes, lounge areas and recreation rooms.

No more than three girls share a room, with single rooms allocated to girls in their final two years of school.

Music Suite

The music program and participation at Walford is strong with a purpose-built music facility servicing orchestras, ensembles, bands and a large choral program. Private tutoring in a wide range of instruments is available.

Mabel Jewell Baker House

This is the original home of Walford’s third Headmistress and her family. It is now used as an Art Centre with studios and a gallery to display student artwork.
