The Old Scholars' Association hold a variety of functions at the School, in regional areas, interstate and overseas, which provide a valuable means of keeping members in touch with each other and the School, no matter where in the world they live.
Each year reunions are celebrated for past students who attended Walford sixty, fifty, forty, thirty, twenty, ten and five years ago.
A number of special events are traditionally held during Old Scholars’ Week, which is celebrated during the last week of May. The Holy Communion, Back to School Assembly, Rose Bowl Debate and the ever growing Old Scholars Luncheon are popular occasions among our Alumni. These events take place during the last week of May and offer the perfect opportunity to catch up with fellow Walford old scholars who attended the School. A tour of Walford will be held at the conclusion of Old Scholars' Week on Saturday 1 June.
The Annual Dinner is a great opportunity for the reunion years to catch up and all old scholars are welcome to attend. This year's dinner will be held at The Robin Hood Hotel in Norwood on Friday 31 May. Please contact Sophie McAdam in the Marketing and Communications Department for further information.
Friday 13 July the Old Scholars Association will be holding the annual Bridge and Games Day in the Fig Tree Cafe. With morning tea supplied and a delicious catered lunch, this popular event is one not to be missed on the Old Scholars calendar of events.
This year Walford Old Scholars are welcome to play for the Ingrid Esau Golf Cup on 11 November at Royal Adelaide Gold Club. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
