Excursions and camps, together with concerts, performances and assemblies encourage students to accept new challenges and build communication and presentation skills.
Co-curricular activities such as Code Club, STEM Club, Thinkers Club, Junior Orator, Chess Club, Ensembles and Choirs, and a huge range of sports and fun activities encourage students to broaden their interests and talents while teaching the need to balance work and play.
Gymnastics Club is available for students from Year 1 after school each Friday. Jumping Joeys is a coordination development program offered twice a week before school in Terms 2 and 3.
Students from Year 3 up may be offered tennis, soccer, netball (or netta), basketball and cross country running.
In Terms 1 and 4 the school pool is highly utilised both in PE lessons and by the onsite swim school. Lunchtime swims are a huge hit and Primary level classes can participate under the supervision of a teacher.
We also have onsite dance classes available for 3 years old through to an advanced level. Performance opportunities occur throughout the year at soirees, instrumental concerts and class presentations. There are two significant concerts involving all of the Junior School students. The Junior Concert has a different theme each year, with every student playing a part. The Christmas Concert is a fabulous finale to the year with a focus on singing.
