Healthy Eating for Kids
On Tuesday 6 June, Callum and Emilee from Sprout Cooking School and Health Studio joined us for our Parenting Seminar on healthy eating for children and of course parents.
They created a couple of tasty dishes before our eyes while taking the time to explain some interesting points on how to get children to eat healthily and also planning for school lunch boxes.
"There is a clear connection with foods that we eat and our health and there is no more an important time than during school years. By getting your children involved in cooking at home, by growing some herbs, taking them on the weekly shopping or even in the cooking process itself, they will feel empowered and that way more open to trying new foods.
The key to good health is eating an array of food and being creative in the kitchen." Callum Hann
